Daniel Orton / Artist | Printer & Painter

Images I consider iconic, or having a revolutionary chic .i.e Korda's Guerrillero Heroico (above), form the basis of my work.

I find these images powerful and facinating, especially in how they invoke a sense of sense of nostalgia for a time I never actually experienced.

My artwork then could be described as an exercise to explore this passion, but I also aim to pay homage to the images I work from, with new forms, be they large grandoise painting, or petit vinyl stickers.
